A Short History of the Word
Every cycle gets a word. This one already had one.
2021 gave the market "ape." Diamond hands, rocket emojis, a whole ticker built out of a gesture. Fine story. Not the original one.
Deep in r/wallstreetbets, years before that, a different word was already doing the actual work — the one traders used on themselves, after the fact, when the DD was one paragraph long and the position was the whole paycheck. Not "ape." Chimp.
It's the word for the guy who read one comment and mortgaged the house. The lurker who finally posted. The new account that went all-in on earnings day and found out what "IV crush" means the hard way. WSB has used it for years, on threads with more karma than most tickers ever get market cap.
Nobody minted it. Everyone was too busy minting the polite version. Chimp Hood fixes that.

The Doctrine
